This site belongs to Pixicom, LLC, a software development firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We don't collect much, and we don't sell any of it. Here's the whole picture.
The contact form
If you send us a message, the form collects your name, your email address, and whatever you write. It arrives as an email to us, and we use it to reply to you; that's all. It doesn't go on a mailing list, and we don't share it with anyone.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how people find the site and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser and records things like the pages you visit, how you arrived (a search, a link, typed in directly), your general location (city or region, not an address), and your device and browser type.
We look at this data in aggregate; we can't see who you are, and we don't use it to target ads. Google processes it under its own privacy policy, and explains how it uses data from sites like this one. If you'd rather not be counted, Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out, and most ad blockers do the same thing.
Spam protection
The contact forms use Google reCAPTCHA to keep bots out. It looks at how you interact with the page (not what you type) to judge whether you're a person. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply to it.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our web server keeps standard logs of requests (IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time). They're used to keep the site running and secure, and they're cleared on a regular schedule.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
- We don't run advertising or remarketing on this site.
- We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Questions or deletion requests
If you've written to us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have a question about any of this, email info@pixicom.com. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
